Mike, All eyes will be on AMAT after the close. Does the VIX matter any more? Yesterday`s close of 20.83 was the lowest close since 12/3/99.

mm: and AMAT. If semi supply is catching up (or passing) demand, as seems to be implied in the SOX price action lately, equipment suppliers are a dead duck. AMAT's guidance, regardless of their current numbers, should make interesting reading and has potential to move the Naz much more than Dell, imo.
