To all. . . . . . . . . Because of the recent SI Awards, we've been topping the Hot Subject list most of the week.. . this attracts many new folks to our growing community. Likewise, there are many who tend to post their latest buys on whichever boards are hottest in a given week. Here is how we handle this. . . . .First, we remain polite and sincere at all times. Second, please refrain from all sarcasm. . . it doesn't read well via the net. . .and it is far too aggressive. . .literally meaning "the tearing of flesh". Third, if anyone makes a post that is not in the context of our board, best to let it pass. . . such persons probably only posted here due to the hot subject list. Fourth, if any post or poster bothers you. . . send me a PM so that I can handle it. When we get to our promised land, spam will be quickly removed and moved to a more appropriate area. Fifth and finally. . .whenever possible, it is best to keep off-topic banter to a minimum. . .and to consolidate your posts to include multiple points, rather than to make multiple posts. It is getting quite difficult to keep up with the HOME thread of late due to the number of posts. Anything that is conversational like "Thank you" "Excuse me?" or off-topic conversation should take place in private. It is fine to answer a public post with a private one. I would have loved to answer each "Congrats" post from this weekend personally. . . but it would have taken several hours and would have been quite boring to read. Meanwhile, my Inbox now shows 953. . . and I often must go back several days to answer some questions. . . and many I simply cannot answer. So I apologize to all that do not get a response. I hope this post is taken in the spirit in which it is presented. On another topic, I am still unable to make many calls, due to my current schedule which has me out much of the time, as well as up very late. So continue to consider me "On Vacation" Thanks all. . .
