Seems to me the Republicans were discussing all these issues. I listened to the entire Republican Convention. The environment got one line from Bush in his acceptance speech. Nobody else said anything. Prescription drug benefit got one line from Bush with no details. Campaign Finance Reform did not get even one line from anybody - even McCain. The issue was off limits. Issues were blurred. The theme was inclusive. The whole thing was phony.
