BIll, <<<Like many here, I took a colossal beating in the tech stock collapse of late spring. What really irks me the most is that I made an attempt to buy value a few months prior to the crash (check my past posts regarding WM and MO). Unfortunately, I made a horrendous decision to abandon that strategy near the bottom of value and buy more momentum-tech near the top. My losses to date exceed the high six figures. 2000 is shaping up to be the worst year in my investing career, and the first time in a decade where I will probably show a large net loss. >>> Like anyone should listen to you with a record like this....LOL.

Bill - Thrilled to have you back. And thank you, thank you, thank you, for GUMM. You're probably returning at the right time. For a while the GUMM folk had lapsed into an embarrassed silence, but they seem to be stirring again. The latest thing they're fussing over is a press release which says that Gum Tech has been so spectacularly successful that they are going to "refocus" the company. Sounds like it might be time for yet another round. Just curious. Is it our friend Robbie who should take credit for finally persuading you it was time to return?
