Sure it's grotesque and I'll show examples along any major Arizona highway. Right now. The internet-English will do what English has always done - it eat the other languages like the Borg in Star Trek eat cultures. It'll spit out words and cultures that no longer are useful and keep on rolling, forming new combinations from the old. Oh yeah, and everyone will have to keep current on their "English" or it will be as out of date as Chaucer's. Tres cool, the 'Net.
