A little off topic but not much....

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--International Freegold Mineral
Development Inc. (Freegold), announces that is has commenced
drilling on the Cleary Hill mine prospect on its Golden Summit
project in the Fairbanks Mining District, Alaska. The program
consists of one diamond core hole with a target depth of 1,000
feet. The purpose of this program is to test for both high grade
vein occurrences and bulk-tonnage gold mineralization in
surrounding country rock, both of which have been intercepted by
previous Freegold drill programs.

Hole CHD00-1 is collared south of the Wyoming vein (northern-most
vein in the area) and is directed due north at -50 degree
inclination. The hole is expected to pass through the down-dip
projections of thirteen gold-bearing veins located in the hanging
wall of the Cleary Hill vein (past production 280,000 ounces
grading 1.3 ounces per ton). The hole also will intercept the
down-dip projection of the California vein, the southernmost
high-grade vein intercepted by Freegold drilling to date, and the
Cleary Hill footwall vein below the Sixth Level, the deepest level
mined in the past. Drilling conducted by Freegold in 1998
intercepted 6 feet grading 3.7 ounces per ton in the Cleary Hill
footwall vein followed by 100 feet grading 0.038 ounces per ton in
the immediate footwall of this high grade interval.

At the current rate of advance, the hole should be completed to
its intended termination depth by the end of the week. The hole
is being photographed, logged and split for assay by Avalon
Development, Freegold's prime geological consultants on the
project. Assays will be conducted by Bondar Clegg in Vancouver.

Freegold is a diversified precious metal company focusing on
acquiring and developing platinum, palladium, rhodium and gold
projects in North America. Freegold has recently acquired ten PGM
properties in the Sudbury Mining District in Ontario as well as
two projects in Alaska, Union Bay and Tonsina. Phase I
exploration has been completed on the Tonsina Project.

Freegold is listed both on The Toronto Stock Exchange and The
Canadian Venture Exchange, and has received 20F clearance in the
United States.
