Jim McMannis,
Sir, two years ago I would agree with the boxmaker label. However, today CPQ is doing more then just PCs. They are doing super computers, high end servers, storage, enterprise consulting, telecommunications, venture capital investments, IT equipment loans and leasing in addition to commercial and consumer PCs. Of course, most of it is housed in boxes but they are very sophisticated boxes. In the future, the classic boxmaker percentage of sales will dramatically decrease as the income from the other divisions dramatically increases. Compaq has gone through a lot of short term agony to build a long term future.

Jim, My system signaled a possible short term top for CPQ right here, so I'm being very cautious about adding any shares until we get a nice little dip at least.....
