Well, if it scales with the Samuel I, the 1.2ghz chip will run x86 code at about the same speed as a 600mhz AMD/Intel chip. Except for floating point, which will be slower. Cheers, Dan.

Mani I have not seen 10% number but it is not that unrealistic if you're are talking about overall units shipments. As AMD is changing the mix toward higher asps the low end market is up for grabs now. As far as 1.2GHz then you should look at the numbers of high end processor that is less than 100K/month which vs amd's 2mil and intel's 20 mil. Regards -Albert
