you are headed the same route as Dr. David Gleidtman, a regular Porcher and recent subject of a front-page WSJ article on doctors who have cut down on their practices to concentrate on daytrading. Except, of course, that Dr. Gleidtman, given his specialty, outranks you and the other sawbones here by far.

That was a spectacularly curmudgeonly, and deeply insulting paragraph you wrote!

1. You misspelled Gleidman's name...not Gleidtman (what did you say earlier..."only a complete moron would misspell...")

2. The fact that you read the Porch speaks volumes about you; I followed the Porch for a couple months to learn more.....the only thing I learned was it was a lot of pretty lightweight chat, and that it didn't suit my purposes. What's your excuse?

3. I'm a doctor, and I am addicted to S.I., but I don't daytrade. But I conduct my Day Job duties at a pace which is definitely full-time.

4. The notion that a "podiatrist" outranks an intensivist is so inconceivable, that only the uninformed could fathom such a thought. But it does explain how it is our Foreign Policy, guided by misguided Policy Wonks, could be so misdirected.

In any event, that was a great Curmudgeon Post....if not a Cool Post.

PS: True Confession: I wanted to take the MF RB course, and did exactly the same thing; copied each email and intend to work thru it when I have time.

PPS: The only difference is, as a father, I'm smart enough to know it won't come after "the quiet moments following when Tekbaby is born". BTW, DownSouth is right (for once); I took a month off, and it was worth it, although frankly, I don't think my wife remembers much from that first sleepless postnatal month.
