IA-64 and Intel® Itanium™ processors will help us do all these things, while maintaining all the advantages of the Intel® Architecture." That's the point. Customers want to follow on and use new servers, or any product, from vendors that they've been happy with. Obviously, Yahoo is from this comment: With 1,500 servers spread across the globe, Yahoo! finds that Intel® Architecture servers both speed searches and contain costs.* Those, of course, would be Xeon or PIII based servers from one or more of the following: CPQ, DELL, IBM or HP, all of whom have development plans using Itanium. This should be on the Intel thread, I know. Tony
