I doubt this. For every transaction the other 3
processors must be snooped, and responses analyzed
before the transaction may proceed. Therefore the
FSB overhead will remain a major problem. That's why
AMD seems to be moving into NUMA architectures with
their Sleighammers.

Yes, that's approximately what I was doing
all these years, successfully predicting
performance of 430XX and 440FX, LX, BX,
and _other_ systems. However, there are few
more tricks to this issue...
