This is essentially a copy of an article that was released yesterday. With one exception of note...

"``Producing fast DRAMs is our core strategy,'' Shimakura said, adding that NEC considers using Rambus Inc.'s technology as the most important factor to achieve its aims."

Hi Steve Lee; Re: "Over a year ago Intel announced that P4 would ship with SDRAM."

Would you like to verify this statement by providing a link? There are plenty of news articles recently that say otherwise. For example:

This runs counter to Intel's stance at the last IDF six months ago, when Direct RDRAM was positioned as the only feasible memory for the Pentium 4.

I'd be surprised to see them proved wrong.

By the way, Rambus could easily put out a news release or two and put those August 100s deep in the money.

<<Good thing about options is you lower your exposure. Had I held on to the stock instead of swapping for calls, I would have lost over $30 per share. The calls were much cheaper than $30 but gave nearly the same upside potential.>>

Aug 100 calls were $32 on June 23 when you posted this: Message 13933124

Let's see the post where you sold your calls or are you out $32 a share??
