Hope McNabb sold his NTAP calls for a healthy profit.

No short suggestions.

I also don't have good feel for risk / reward when it comes to shorting. I can do an analysis but many times wrong on the short end. That may be due to being in the bull market and not recognizing the trend. It is too easy to be whipsawed.

Semi's are looking good at this point. We are close to one of the resistance areas on the NAD and NAZ. If we break thru on upside it would be bullish.

We can just as eaisly fall back to 3,500 - 3,600 range with earnings now past.

I don't know at this point which is why I too am mostly cash. Preserve capital vs. missed opportunities. Opportunities will be there.

Actually Tim,
What I want are a few days of Chinese Torture as Zeev calls it.
Then a nice panic drop at the end.
The last time the futures opened up way down was a trap.
Small drops will continue for some time.
A re-test of that gap down should be expected, shouldn't it?

mishedlo, look at swcm today and read about their deal with phcm. I opened a short position at 155.875, hoping for that gap at around 120 to be filled.

Anybody know the stock well enough to comment?

Thanks
Anand

Hi M

Cash is good right now. If PPI is OK you miss out on some of the gain. If PPI shows 3.5% to 4% inflation I'd say we retest the recent lows.

We all have to decide what is right for our investing / trading style. What is ok for me may not be ok for you and vice versa.

We just try to help each other out. Although this has stopped being a pure channeling thread.
