More on AMD pricing from the register...
Maybe WS thinks a price war is beginning?

Jim,

We take it personally when the AMD stock does not do well but from where I am sitting there are alot of stocks not doing well and not just in the semi sector.....but tech stocks in general. Price wars, end of the semi cycle, earnings shortfalls, recession etc. seem to be excuses for selling or at minimum, not buying.

You find a stock in a rally one day only to have it fall just as much the next day. Money rotates into a sector, only to rotate out two days later. I have given up trying to figure out where the money will pop up next.

I don't think things are as bad as the media/analysts would lead us to believe. Sooo, I am trying to ride this one out as well as possible.

What are you doing?
