SVRI - SILICON VALLEY RESEARCH INC - Third Consecutive Profitable Quarter

New York, New York, Aug. 10, 2000 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX) -- Silicon
Valley Research, Inc., a maker of electronic design automation software,
announced that they will report a profit in their fiscal first quarter earnings
release on Monday, Aug. 14.

Silicon Valley Research, Inc. will release its fiscal first quarter earnings on
Aug. 14, after the market close. Following the earnings release, the Company
will hold a conference call with major shareholders and analysts to discuss the
Company's earnings and future plans. The conference call will be available to
the public live via webcast on www.streetfusion.com and is scheduled for 2 p.m.
