I love it when you are able to read things of a positive nature into the unknown.......that is a mark of a true owner of a crystal ball.....

Good thinking, xyz.

The internet winds died down in March, 2000, and so did exuberant funding. PNL has adjusted their sails assertively and admirably.

If I were dealt their hand (and as an investor, I guess I was), I could cling to my expectation that DotCom funding just had to be there, or I could find a CEO from a world renowned EXportIMport bank who could help me tack upwind. I could hang onto my ego and my stalled negotiations, or I could hand him the wheel and say "Sail us to new horizons. We are on board with you all the way".

Now why couldn't I just hire Mr Bohn as an advisor, and keep the CEO title? Because negotiating partnerships and/or venture capital of magnitude requires follow through! Potential partners need confidence that the negotiator can deliver; can conform somewhat to mutual strategy shifts, and sway the board. He can't just say "Throw money their way, because I knew how to find you". But he can say "Throw it my way, because my professional opinion is that PNL is a good shot, and if you trusted me in the past, trust me on this one. My skin is in the game and we will make it happen for you!"

The next leg of our journey will be the best one because we have reached a wonderful starting line. The best ever. If you don't believe me, just ask Bohn, Morgan and Blumberg. They might not have been interested 2 years ago, but they signed on and are ready to go. So now, its just a few more tacks, and then raise the jib! A downwind gale may be just around the bend.

Ahoy, El Toro. Does this get your mower going?
