you're right. Technology doesn't change that fast ... I do believe that the next wave is "usability"-- it isn't just bandwidth -- it isn't a hardware issue -- it is software and MSFT won't solve it ... there will be a new wave of tech wonders when we come out of the recession/depression, what-have-you ... DELL is a one trick poney, as is GTW, as is CPQ ... very possible that they will be gobbled up in the next 5 years ... they do have lots of $$'s to throw around .. one could get lucky and catch the next wave, but odds are against it ...
