To All, Dell's eps report stank the house out. The Pee-Yewww brigade has a lot of spin doctoring to do on this disaster. Let's see: 1. EPS up 16%. That is terrific for a bowwow selling at nearly 60 times eps. 2. Operating income up a mighty 5%. Isn't this supposed to be a growth co.????? That means they had to phi scamma jamma to get eps up 16%, and they did most of it with their speculative sector hedge fund.

Looks like we are two or three quarters away from declining eps growth rate for the Round Rock Randies. We are still a couple of years away from operating losses, though. So they deserve a huge pe ratio. <g>

re TIE.

Well, one of us sold cheap today. +45% isn't a homerun, but enough for me. <grin>

Maybe I watch earnings next q, to see if price increases do any good. TIE said last conf call that part of the problem was market prices for Ti were lower than the boeing contract prices. Perhaps they signal to the market that it's time to pay the piper.

Maybe I roll into ATI. Still don't have much of a position there.

Good luck to TIE holders, may she go to the moon
