Crossbow applies wireless net to industrial control

Jerry Fiddler is on the Board of Directors of this private company. I think he put some of his own money in at a very early round.

They are also listed in Wind's Tradewinds Directory

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them get an investment from Wind River Ventures in the future.

JC, Allen, anyone... Here's a great link from the motley fool which talks about standard bearers. Could anyone help me understand WIND's role as a standard bearer for the embedded systems market? Comments/discussion welcome...

James,

You wrote, "I think the op margin is projected to be around 12% for this year as compared to 20% in previous years."

I recall TSD saying the margins will increase each quarter approaching 20% this fourth quarter, and 20% for the next full year. Is this about right?

Are all these margin projections before taxes or net after taxes? Twelve percent after tax margins on $425 million in sales yields earnings of about $.70, way above forecasts. Wishful thinking??

Even more wishful, if this year's operating margins are 12% and next year's are 20%, then the operating profit would be 67% higher on even revenues, 167% on revenues which increased 40%.
