Joe, we really aren't playing different sides of the table! I've stood aside on AETH while you were even smarter and shorted it. On other issues I've been fortunate to buy multiple positions at or near short term bottoms and then liquidate some or all as rallies peaked and faded.

Your "shotgun" approach is every bit as valid as my selective longs...they both can be profitable if executed properly. I am not a general market "bull" but a "selective bull" (if there is such a thing). Some of my best longs have been on days when the Dow and Naz were tanking (and I've had some losers, too, just nothing real serious lately).

By and large I agree with your assessments; we'll have to stay nimble!
