X......

>>Nope - that's the same old s*it.>>

Stop trying to fill in boxes.

>>Can you speak conversationally? Can you say, for example, what your opinion is about abortion? Do you think the danger of global warning is exaggerated? Do you have an opinion on the destruction of the world's rain forests? Do you know anything about wetland's ecology? Do you know anything about ecology in general?>>

I am for anything that creates energy, trust and goodwill. And if something doesn't create energy, trust and goodwill, I'm not going to dig a foxhole over it. For if I dig a foxhole against abortion I am making a "subjective" value statement which, regardless of my personal feelings against the practice, will always remain relative to something else.

Too much of what passes for positions, definitions and labels is presented as protective armor which forms the basis of our identity which is based on things outside of ourselves which is rooted in what others think, etc. I don't believe in layers of subjective/objective badges or pieces of armor based on tribal/clique-think.

>>What do you think about the current educational system?>>

Black Hole. Turn it upside down, inside out. A staggeringly massive, massive opportunity for transforming education out of a structured/boxed of risk-averse control/fear-based paradigm into a fun, unstructure/open risk-oriented/joy-filled paradigm.

>>Are you a proponent of whole language, or phonics?>>

Start and end with music, melody and song. Let the music and voice of our soul guide us.

>>Do you think teachers should be required to take proficiency exams?>>

Our society has been breaking up and fragmenting against the hard rocks of distrust. Bring trust, compassion and hope back into the environment and then watch the levels of energy, light and love naturally rise and spread virally.

Unions have the system in a hammerlock. Exams that define/limit/label only further the institutional rot. One joyful soul - I don't care if they have a certificate from high school - who loves life can "teach" a lifetime of lessons in what "living" is really all about by simple example.

>>Should school be year round, now that we are no longer an agrarian society?>>

I'm for "open" schooling - a hybrid of "at home", charter and our existing public schools. Individuals are best able to make decisions for their children. We've been force feeding kids inside 4-walls when the walls of the world our breaking down all around us.

>>Would you say you are Republican or Democrat- or are you reform or "other"?>>

I'll vote for any candidate that best "goes higher" than either in the spirit of service. The Republicans tend to hearken to our roots in identifying the responsibility and freedom of "the individual" in this area more than Democrats. No party is perfect. Longer term, I happen to think D.C. will become a museum. We will walk through the streets and take tours of these big empty buildings and ask "why??"

>>Can you fit yourself into some religious classification?>>

I don't believe in classifying the energy of love. This is where most of our problems begin.

>>Do you have an ethnic heritage?>>

What does this matter? How does 50/50 German/English on both sides strike you? One side all the way back to the 1600's and the others late 1800's immigrants direct from England/Germany.

>>Any special traditions?>>

We have an annual family reunion in Montana each July 4th. My mother's side of the family is from there. Land that goes back to before MT was state. 30-50 folks to meet, sing, play, fish, hike, blow off fireworks, etc. Best trout fishing in the world.

All holidays and birthdays are celebrated with festivity and fun!! I planned my wife's 40th surprise birthday party at a local Zoo - 50+ people on a private train, plus food, quartet, private songs/poems I wrote/sang/narrated, etc. FUN!!

>>How about your wife? What's she like?>>

Wonderful lady, 1/2 greek, 1/2 polish, married 10 years, "met her in a bar", opening line "do you want to go to the circus tomorrow my brother's an elephant trainer", second line - my parents sell garlic for a living, third line - I sing in a barbershop quartet", fourth line " I lost my keys. I managed to sing "soon you'll marry, you'll be my blushing bride" to the light of a full moon before escorting her back to a cab with $1 in my pocket.

She thought I was full of BS. Call her the next day, went to the circus, saw my brother - the elephant trainer - sang barbershop music to her in the car, gave her some garlic pills from our family business, and risked leaping into the void of life and love and it's been a wonderful blessing.

We were back inBermuda this past June where we went on our Honeymoon and were we celebrated our 10th.

>>Did you go to college (which one) and if so what was your major and minor?>>

Northwestern. Majored in working my way through school. Minored in Political Science.

>>Any grad school?>> Some additional courses at N.U. Grad School of "Hard Personal Knocks" - greater Chicagoland chapter.

>>Please answer each question briefly and conversationally
if possible- with no "Go" or "energy" or "light" or metaphors about connectedness.>>

People in this world want to "see" and "touch" to "feel" to believe. How about trying to risk to learn the value of believing in something. Isn't that what created this great country??

None of us need to value ourselves based on what others think of us as long as we freely share and risk to help and serve. My value is based on the the joy and energy I freely, unconditionally share with others. The more I freely risk, share and serve, the more my energy and sense of joy goes up.

How's that brother X??

Sorry if it's too fluffy and light-headed.

But I can put this entire message to music if you want me to.

Peace.

.

Don't ask the man what he thinks. He's made it perfectly clear that he doesn't.
