Howdy JL,

[[ Note to DMA- here's another one you don't want to read, :) ]]

Now some 'round these parts been thinkin' I got a bias, and not the same one they do. Just been coolin' at the local news and danged if I didn't get a big whiff of that compassionate conservatism. Ya gotta love the spin, Ivins says that Tehas ranks #50 of all states on pollution. Unless you like the stuff. The TV ad I just saw tells me that pollution problems in Texas are being resolved at a faster rate in the 1995-1998 period than anywhere else in the good ol' USA. (Well, they didn't say that exactly, you had to read the fine print.) But they did announce, ta da, a website that takes aim at the high-pocricy of the inventor of the Internet. Yup, Al Bore has a zinc mine operating in his back yard, and the good ol' boys who're doing the dig are makin' a mess. So says the ecology police. Fines and every dang thing. Joe Bob sez check it out here: gorepollution.com
