SB,
I don't want to get into a political discussion, but I have very little faith in any numbers coming out of the Clinton Administration, end of political discussion. However, I think you meant 100 basis points, which is about a 1 percentage point increase in GDP. I am looking at revenue growth reported by companies who are liable for fraud, unlike Gov't agencies, who can put out any numbers with impunity. In fact, Gov't is expected to screw up. The growth has been unprecedented. The medical improvements, the ability to process billions of calculations per second, e-mail, data transfer, etc. has improved the productivity of the US workforce by quantum leaps. You can cry conspiracy if you want. I also place more credence in US Government than any foreign government. Even if the numbers are flawed I find it hard to argue that corporate America is not more efficient today than it was in 1987.knc
