Why do you say this?


It's not my theory. I have read it more than once, the last time from Real World Tech. Supposedly only iWill is designing a motherboard using Ali's chipset.

What I am wondering about is where were Ali and Sis? Why did they not design chipsets for Athlon earlier? What chipsets are they selling now? Ali's P6 chipsets seems to be very low volume. Ali doesn't even appear to have a P6 chipset. I guess they still sell some Socket 7 chipsets, but it is clear that this business is disappearing fast.
