i know...one can only hope that this doesn't portend that the market as a whole will also break out...that chart doesn't look bearish to me...unless of course this recent break-out fails. someone recently posted a link to an FT article here about the thin equity capital cushion of GE Capital vs. its bloated balance sheet...if only a small percentage of its assets is impaired, the hedge fund monster will be in deep doo-doo. leveraged to the hilt...
