You needn't go loony over the url. I've seen the ilk before. Writing about the death of ATM has been a source of subsistence for a great many journos over the past six years. Some have actually waffled and changed their views several times. Equipment manufacturers do this too. All IP, until a SONET takeout looks attractive. "... and oh, btw, we'll start supplying those ATM ports that the carriers have been asking for, now. After all, we do want to be the dominant carrier source, don't we?" Have you seen any All IP vendors doing this sort of thing recently? smile Frank
