To Albert, John, and other friendly presences. I have not bought any AMD since the high teens but if the relative high value, as I perceive it continues, I just might buy some more common soon. I know that inteL has some good news for itself about to break but it, in my estimation is not so bad for AMD as AMD's price action is suggesting. Do you guys know anything that I am missing. Given the progress that AMD has made, the values here, though not as compelling as they once were, are starting to rival them and (forgive me if I do run on) nothing that I see is as compelling as AMD common is in relative value.

Regards,

DARBES

Petz,

Did you attend the University of Illinois at Urbana?

my econ 101 was taught by Burton Malkiel, the writer of "A Random Walk Down Wall Street."...(He probably runs a mutual fund now)

What, after writing that book you think he picks stocks? He is still professor of economics at Princeton and is on the board of directors of Vanguard, the largest index mutual fund company in the world, based on a concept he championed.
