I always wonder about the european productivity tho--compared to what?? Europeans are likely to be found (1) criticizing Americans for working too much, taking too few vacations, etc.; and (2) being too heartless to workers when it comes time to "downsize"; and (3) not being generous enough to those members of society who are not working. I guess number (4) on their list is Europeans marvelling at American productivity, creativity, economic growth and persistently low unemployment. They wag their fingers and then send their money. These four things wouldn't be interrelated, would they? Nah.... P.S. -- Are you a United Airlines pilot by any chance? If so, please help us Chicagoans out and go work some overtime <groveling pose> <g>
