Sure, the world is still an evil sinful place, people are still lacking perfection and God was only testing our faith. The cool thing about logic is that if you don't question your premise, you can prove anything. But that is a double edge sword. Heaven's Gate people should have been asking "If I leave my body and go to an invisible spaceship behind Hale-Bopp, why do I need a roll of quarters?" That's pretty freakin' obvious point (to me at least) that if you're no longer corporeal, a roll of quarters ain't gonna make a bit of difference.
