Re:" but I still don't know what this Coppermine-T / LV will be."

Coppermine LV is probably a Low Voltage Coppermine manufactured with a slightly different transistor process, optimized for lower leakage currents and hence lower power.

Consider Coppermine LV as a Crusoe Killer !

Jozef - RE: "There were numerous references to Willy-479, some to Tualatin and Northwood, but I still don't know what this Coppermine-T / LV will be."

Another new stepping/shrink perhaps? Or maybe it is just the new C0 stepping with the 15% shrink. Why would Intel come out with a new stepping now, and then start another that will start up in mid-Q4.? Were they ahead of schedule with C0?

But if Intel wants to compete with Athlon, they will need something between the current stepping and Tulatin because Willy's high price tag won't do much harm.
