Hi RR,

"Extreme Networks" appears to be an appropriate name.

After reviewing their chart I see they went from $42 in the last week in May to $160s just this week.

Then I went to Yahoo to see if I could find any incredible news to help it's rocket ride over that time period.

I really haven't found any mind blowing news or reports.
There was actually a large gap in it's chart, set in the 1st week in June. Not a stitch of news there or any technical indications leading to a reason for the jump.

There was news in July of EXTR setting a split for AUG 24th.
Perhaps this is why it has continued to power upwards.

I'm just wondering when will the profit taking occur?
Often these long runs will retrace 1/3.
1/3 of a 120 point run is approx. a 40 point drop to the 120's.

A drop to it's 20 day moving average would bring it down to the low 140's.

A drop to it's 50 dma would bring it under the 120's.

An unlikely free fall to it's 200 dma brings it to 90's.

There seems to be a lot of downside risk.

With a growth rate of 400% in 2 1/2 months, I'm wondering just how much further this stock can travel.

Here's a chart to show the picture:

I just can understand why this one has climbed so far.
Perhaps they are being romanced into a possible merger or buyout?

How much of a dip are you looking for before you enter EXTR?

Rick, are doing a "limit" order on JDSU March calls or do you just do a Market order? There seems to be a good spread on the March 95 strike price right now. from 36-39 approx. Would you just try to get somewhere inbetween with a limit? TIA, Depy
