Probably true....bear markets have VERY STRONG rallies

I dont think the terms bear and bull markets have much meaning anymore at all. They are much overused. We know 1929-193? was a bear as well as the early 70's thru the early 80's. Not all market downturns are anything more that a pause in market growth based on the fundamental soundness of the economy. This market is going up since Reagan even with the 86 or 87 crash. It will continue until we get conditions such as existed in the roaring 20's or the 1960's when Lyndon Baines Johnson decided not to raise taxes to pay for 2 wars--the war on Poverty and the war in Vietnam.
So if the market gets ahead of itself sometimes lets not knee-jerk that the Bear is back in town.
