Not much to add to what has already been stated except to say I agree that the bottom line performance was indeed very impressive given the market conditions in the first half. If things hold, the third quarter is shaping up for more of the same. Silicon Spice, OnLink, VINA, and possibly one other this quarter in addition to the gain the public portfolio....looks as if earnings could be close to the same as last quarter (with the related increase in BV.) In the future, I fully expect contracts to be announced from LPA (SAI) given the relocation of Whitehead and his mandate as defined by Trueger in the Chairman's Statement. Given the fact that Whitehead is a former advisor to former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and worked for six years at Lloyds Bank International in London, I assume he knows some of the right people. Interesting twist, LPA. I also particularly like how the company is raising its profile. With all the games analysts play in this market, this company offers a "new economy" analyst to cover a really solid company with the financials and performance to back a significantly higher target price. "...watch for increased press commentary...” OK Mr. Trueger, I will.
