I suppose a day of short covering ahead of the weekend where profits are taken qualifies as a change in trend.

<Well what?>

The BOJ raised rates. It's a start and a decisive change in trend, and you know it. It's great for Gold, and you know it. Admit it!

I'm under no illusions here. Gold needs all the help it can get here. I know the BOJ move on Friday is by no means a signal yet to go long gold. But that day is coming and you know it.

Once Gold gets the Euro on its side, it's a Bull Market for Gold, and you know it.

The major problem for Gold is how on earth is the Euro going to compete with the US$$$ ?
