Wow! Yes, Calpine took off on high volume at the end of the day. A wonderful sign. Wish I had $ to invest at this point! Alas! I have a new statistic on my web site (which rates CPN a mere "Bullish" at the moment) -- Annualized Volatility Adjusted Return. This is a kind of risk-adjusted return. CPN comes out with a fantastic 128% in this statistic over the past 69 days (the size of my current automated analysis window). That's one of the top numbers in the market. Since I don't have enough money for CPN at the moment, I bought REI, another utility that seems to be going places. Deregulation is going to help the more creative utilities have some spectacular runs in the coming decade, I think! Kevin
