As the semi-equip stock values go down, the earnings estimates for the group of 33 semi-equips I follow go up. The table below is a comparison of the earnings estimates from First Call from the period of 7/27 to 8/10, the latest 2 week period. Columns 2 and 3 show the present, 8/10, First Call estimates. Columns 4 and 5 show the increase or decrease from 7/27. Column 6 is the sum of the change for this year and next years estimate. LRCX is right up there in the table with a nice increase for the last 2 weeks. However, from 7/27 to 8/10, the closing LRCX price went from 27.12 to 21.63, a 20 percent decrease.
