Just passing through. That's the Libertarianz url in New Zealand. I noticed John Galt's sidekick here [Gidday Terrence] so thought I'd drop that in the stream for the interest of passersby.

With a newly elected socialist government rendering NZ down, with the currency now at an all-time low against the US$, NZ might make a good example [as if another is needed] of what happens to countries which head off into tribalism and compulsory collectivism.

New Zealand is also the only country on earth conducting an experiment on women ruling the roost. This introduces a major confounding variable on the first experiment.

Women now rule NZ:

The Queen, Liz Windsor [too many other names]
The Governor General [Designate], Silvia Cartwright
The Prime Minister in Helengrad, Helen Clark
Various Cabinet Ministers, Judith, Annette etc
Chief Justice, Sian Elias [sister in law of Mayor of Auckland]
High Court Boss, Judith Potter
Boss of Welfare [called Work and Income], Big Ear Rings
Leader of the Opposition [the previous Prime Minister], Jenny Shipley [over-eating women get heart disease too]
Leader of the Green Party, Jeanette Fitzsimons
Leader of Mana Motuhake Party [racist Maori party], Sandra Lee [yes, I know that's not a Maori name]
Boss of biggest company, Telecom NZ, Theresa Gattung
Medical Cartel Secretary, Pippa MacKay
Mayor of biggest city, Auckland, Christine Fletcher

New Zealand was the first country which allowed women to vote. The land of the free and brave was decades coming around to the same view. ipu.org
