i flipped last week. i figure a small profit is better than no profit. the way the internets have been killing me. i didn't get any flipping notice. i'm still waiting for a good ipo to try for.i canceled the last 2. so, i don't know if i'll be able to get any when the time comes. i'm hoping that e trade is too busy tring to get all the wit accounts set up , to be worried about a few flippers. best, paulie

I think the flipping policy is enforced, however it seems to take 3 days or so to take effect. I have never received an email for flipping. On CGEN I applied in all 9 accounts, but only received shares in the 1 account that didn't flip WebEx. However there seems to be a few occasional exceptions to the penalty. I have went 0/7 on MCDT, 0/9 FLRE and 0/9 on Resonate in accounts with enough cash since flipping WebEx. The only way you can tell if you are in jail, I think, is if you receive your DJ earlier in a flipped account than in a non-flipped account, which all of my flipped accounts have received DJ's before the non-flipped accounts. Right now it doesn't matter since for most of the 60 days there will be very little if anything worth getting.
