You have to keep a good eye on your tools (imo). I comparison shop for my tools- I read about them in consumer reports- I don't just buy something and hope it will work even though I am not watching it. As for your friend being upset about this administration- I can't relate. I've been upset about the administrations in Washington since I was old enough to know about politics- they all suck to some extent, and they all have some accomplishments. Politics seems to be the kind of game where only people I detest ever win (I'll exempt Carter and Bush- since even though both men were flawed I did not detest them).
