Ausdauer, I don't know about you but I'm lucky if I get a few "keepers" out of a roll of film. I can't help but think that eventually people will become more selective in what they have committed to paper. I finally extracted the 16MB Lexar card that came with my Coolpix 990 and inserted the 64MB Viking card that I received in error (I had specifically requested a SanDisk card!). It is MUCH (~2X) slower when writing but the 990's 32MB of internal RAM buffers things well. It is VERY nice to set the camera on "normal" and have it report that there is space for ~100 new pictures. Despite 4:1 JPEG compression, my sister has complained that my email images are so large that nostrils look like caverns. Oh ... the joys of having 3.3 megapixels! Craig
