Jim, I don't know if you fool with the candles or not but Nisson speaks of the Japanese formation called the 3 Mountain Top (one of the Three Buddha Patterns) defined as follows:
IN JAPANESE TERMS, THE THREE BUDDHA TOP IS A THREE MOUNTAIN TOP IN WHICH THE CENTRAL MOUNTAIN IS THE TALLEST. A LONGER-TERM TOPPING PATTERN IN WHICH PRICES STALL AT, OR NEAR, THE SAME HIGHS. IT IS ALSO SOMETIMES VIEWED AS THREE WAVES UP.

Look at AMD's chart and the Central Mountain. I guess this one could be called a 4 Mountain Top but anyway that is a CLASSIC 3 Mountain Top. :-)

They have a reverse pattern for bottoms called the 3 River Bottom.

I point this out for the LONG TERM investors for future reference.
