...I had one of those cheapie HP 1 megapixel deals at first, probably around March/April. (This was mainly to get pics onto ebay, then I returned the POS to Office Depot).

And in its defence, for price and spec its pretty good (or was, I dont suppose they still make it any more).
In fact, at a family event a couple of weeks ago my HPC20 beat two 35mm cameras, which were all used to take the same scene at the same time, give or take a few seconds. Neither 35mm took the scene very well for some reason and I have printed out the pic from my HP and given it to the 35mm owners. Both were impressed, it was printed on a Epson 750 so possibly would have been even better on later technology such as an 850.

Earlier this year I was going to get the Canon S20 as a replacement but have read too many reports of the blues being too purple. So I'm now waiting for the next crop of digicams (just before Xmas I suppose?)
