Thanks for pointing this out. As I have been wandering so much this summer, I haven't been keeping up with Sir Al's activities of late.

I do note that much of the money flowing into the U.S. of late (the dough that allows that incredible trade imbalance to continue) results from frenetic U.S. corporate borrowing, particularly in Europe. This bodes ill both long term and short term if the economy continues to slow.

According to your link, M2 growth has slowed, but debt continues to grow steadily.
