James,

Some of the sales make sense to me. I've been skeptical of the valuations of banks (and brokers) for a long time so trimming WFC a little seems OK. I held a huge position in that stock bought at the same time as Buffett and sold it all.

He's been trimming Disney for awhile (valuation also?)

I don't understand the Chubb sale. Maybe now, since it has risen so much.

I think his comments about the rest of the year were very upbeat. The 2nd quarter results were weak, but everyone already knew that.

James or anyone,

I'm trying to get a better understanding of the the 13F-HR and 13F-HR/A that BRK filed.

Are they essentially the same thing, with the HR/A being the most updated positions of those securities that BRK asked for confidentiality on?

So the HR/A is the more current position of the securities listed on both the HR and HR/A?
