Pat, Something else to keep in mind considering the price of JDSU. The knowledge that the optical sector is a good area to invest in and to sell products into is wide and large. So, money is not only being spread around in the already listed companies, it is being spread by increase in IPO's, you can bet money is also being moved at the venture capital level in an increasing fashion, so the optical IPO's will only continue. So, there is competition for optical investing dollars. Throw in the already widely know JDSU story and it's outside advance last year, you have money seeking other possible lesser know, and more lucrative avenues. Not to mention the merger overhang. What I see happening is 2 more qr of the same as JDSU and SDLI merge and the synergy of the two, plus JDSU's other mergers, become more apparent, all along JDSU continues grow into it's current valuation before JDSU starts to move again. The big fly in the oitment is the market at large.

Pat,

A tremendous overview. A terrific analysis. Thank you once again for spoon-feeding us. Only one problem though Pat... you forgot to serve this up with a nice warm cup of java!:-)
