I think you're whistling past the graveyard. OEMs and end users still prefer Intel, in the vast majority. That's because they still expect AMD to blow it at any given moment, as in the Duron release with no infrastructure, or having to use second rate chipsets and/or motherboards that AMD has no control over. What happened to the Gateway Athlon TV commercials? They're all intel inside now. Why is AMD bombing prices? I thought they could sell everything they could build. Strange pricing move if that's the case. It wouldn't be to move product that would otherwise sit, would it?

Sometimes the stock price lets the cat out of the bag before the event happens. What's it going to be? Flash? Duron? Neither seemed that earth shaking. What is it???
