You can look at Schwab which is pretty good.Prudential also offers online facilities and has two different rate plans. It is expensive if you are planning on trading unless you are trading large numbers. Finally I understand DLJ has now online facilities as some one from their office contacted me yesterday.I don't know the exact details of rates yet.

Obviously DLJ and Prudential have research and underwriting divisions which allows access to IPO'S and research material.Prudential requires a 500k account for full access to all their divisions and DLJ said 100k.

One thing that might be of interest is prudential offers a venture capital investment into a fund which bank rolls start ups in biotech and tech which is run by VOLPE.

I would stay away from some of the cheaper online brokers as they lack service and professional facilities for overseas investors.

I hope the above helps,

Good luck,

Shahram
