AUGUST ~ One of our favorite market proxy stocks is Merrill Lynch. After
forming a more than two-year reverse-head-and-shoulders pattern, it
recently broke out to new all-time highs. The DJIA has also been developing
the same chart pattern since early 1999. We believe Merrill Lynch's
historical propensity to top out before major tops in the Dow is forecasting
an ultimate positive resolution of the DJIA pattern. Although our work points
to a breakout to new all-time highs by the Dow and a final top at
12,500-12,800, we acknowledge that the Dow may still sell off to the
bottom of its trading range this September and October. High volatility and
whipsaw action will likely persist until the breakout occurs. The breakout
may indeed not occur until January or February 2001 and a final top could
occur as late as the fall of 2001.

Reminds me that last time I got in touch with my feminine side I realized it was a Lesbian HO HO HO
