I was not referring to any of the laws the illustrious (in Gore's mind) Mr. Clinton broke ("trashed" is a better word, it rightly invokes the proper images of beer belches and broken down jalopies perched near tree stumps next to rusting trailer homes).

While it's not precisely correct to say he broke it, the law that gave Paula Jones standing to bring her civil suit against Clinton ( supported and signed into law by William Jefferson Blyth - irony freaks ) should be canned. American women don't need Federal protection against boorish men.

Also the entire body of Federal criminal law that has accumulated over the past 40 years needs to be dumped. This trend of building a Federal criminal law system in parallel to the States' belongs on the short list of trends most threatening to liberty.

Personally, I see no reason to test, repeal or challenge any of the laws Bubba broke.
