Mark- is this board being run on the basis of seniority or truth? I really didn't find Valueman's recent commentary much more civilized than that found on other boards. I mean really, IFN BK'ing G, let's get real. Being right in the past doesn't entitle someone to a free pass on being analyzed or challenged today. And I didn't know that personalities and people here were above a rational discussion of the facts as opposed to broadbrushing everything that G does as a failure. That type of commentary doesn't mesh with reality. BTW, I haven't been a rah-rah over G*'s marketing or product placement execution, either. But neither you nor anyone else can fault their engineering know how. I left the Yahoo boards for the most part because of folks like Valueman, where, in fact, he still posts. I find his commentary there and here just as disturbing as you may find mine. I am willing to deal civilly with anybody, long, short, whatever, but I won't stand for misleading and fearmongering statements by folks without a challenge. I think that's called...oh yes, democracy or free speech or some such thing. If you don't want to read my posts in preference for others, do so. I generally read some posts over others as well for various reasons. That's pretty normal. Certain posters I exempt from 'lecture' as well.
